Derbyshire Police Federation is hosting a free seminar to help members prepare for retirement.
The event is aimed at members who plan to retire in the next 12 to 18 months to help them with managing their money, investment planning, wills, estate planning, police pensions and much more.
It will be run by Reflect Financial, which has more than 20 years’ experience in providing financial advice to police officers.
Reflect’s specialist police team are experts in helping members make provision for their ongoing financial security.
This is their third and final pre-retirement seminar of the year and will provide an invaluable source of advice and guidance for officers considering a life beyond policing.
The seminar will be delivered by senior financial planning consultant Philip Pearson and Tim Jackson, former chief superintendent and national secretary of the Police Superintendents’ Association.
It takes place from 9am to 5pm on 11 October at the Derbyshire Police Federation offices at Coney Green Business Park, Wingfield View, Clay Cross.
The day has been assigned a duty day by Chief Constable Rachel Swann and lunch is provided.
