Free webinar looks at proposed changes to pension scheme

Derbyshire Police Federation members are being urged to sign up for a free webinar looking at the proposed changes to the Police Pension Scheme.

Police Mutual, providers of financial services for serving and retired police officers, staff and their families, has teamed up with pension specialists Royal London for the webinar.

It has been put together after the Government announced proposed changes to end unlawful age discrimination in the Police Pension Scheme (the “McCloud” remedy).

The webinar, which is specific to members of the Police Pension Scheme (including retired and former officers), will help those affected get a better understanding of how the discrimination occurred, whether they are impacted by the proposal and what could happen as a result.

The webinar is free to view and can be paused and restarted as many times as needed.
