Remembering PC Mark Wilkinson

Derbyshire PC Mark Wilkinson died on this day in 1988.

Mark was only 20 when he died in a road traffic accident as he drove to work for a night shift.

Derbyshire Police Federation chair Tony Wetton said: “Our thoughts today are with Mark’s family, friends and colleagues as they mark this sad anniversary.

Our fallen colleagues and their sacrifice should never be forgotten.”
