What is Long Covid? Free factsheet now available

Police Mutual has produced a factsheet on Long Covid, to help members get a better understanding of the lasting impact the virus can have on some patients.

Long Covid is a term used when the effects of Covid-19 continue for weeks, or even months beyond the initial illness, with 1.1 million people describing these symptoms across the UK. 

The leaflet, which is free to download, covers common signs of Long Covid, who is at risk of developing symptoms and how it can be treated.

Police Mutual supports both serving and retired police officers, as well their families with financial and wellbeing support.
