A free downloadable guide on healthy eating has been produced for Police Federation members.
The factsheet has been produced by Police Mutual and coincides with Healthy Eating Week, which began yesterday (28 September) and runs until Monday (4 October).
According to the guide, more than two thirds of adults in England are now classed as being overweight, making it more important than ever for members to take a look at their diet and lifestyle.
The leaflet includes suggestions on how readers can improve their eating and drinking habits, as well as information on how much water adults should be drinking on a daily basis.
From tips on losing weight and stopping the cravings, to discussing the relationship between stress and eating, the guide is bursting with advice.
Police Mutual supports serving and retired officers, along with their families, with their finances and wellbeing.
