Who can be a “Friend”?

Under the new regulations a Friend can be: 

• A serving police officer
• A police staff member, or
• Where the officer concerned is a member of a police force, a person nominated by their staff association, who is not otherwise involved in the matter. 

On the Branch Council we have a number of “Friends”, who have attended Intermediate and Advance conduct training in relation to the Conduct and Performance Regulations.
