The type of Psychotherapy I practice is Solution Focused Therapy which focuses on the future. This style of therapy is designed to reduce anxiety related concerns and promote a calm mind by focusing on solutions for the future rather than analysing past issues. It is highly effective at relieving anxiety and stress symptoms if you are willing to change your thinking style. Focusing on solutions prevents us from dwelling on problems.
To do this, we will acknowledge where you are right now, decide what you want to accomplish and help you make the necessary changes.
Hypnotherapy is a safe and powerful tool that combines Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. Psychotherapy is sometimes referred to as ‘talking treatment’ as it involves talking together to help clients overcome what they want to change. Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial and can help you improve your mental health and overcome emotional or social challenges. Hypnosis combined with Psychotherapy enables the subconscious mind to make beneficial changes.
This is a well-researched modern approach based on the latest neuroscience research. It is also a collaborative process, and it is important to understand that change happens because you want it to and that you are prepared to work together to take the necessary steps to allow it to happen. Working alongside talking therapy, we incorporate hypnosis to focus your mind on your preferred future to help you achieve your goals.
