Terina is an experienced Family Lawyer working nationally specialising in divorce law, matrimonial financial remedy, private Children Act matters, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, separation agreements, civil partnerships, Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, (advice up to Court), and is a member of Resolution. Initially called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister, having obtained two scholarships, the Sir Thomas More from Lincoln’s Inn, and the Director of BPP Law. Terina worked for Humberside Police within the legal services unit and covert authority bureau before being asked to work in private practice.

 

Terina is offering a free 30minute consultation with a family lawyer, as well as a 15% discount to all serving officers, police staff and their families, with 10% off for NARPO members. She is also able to offer a 10% discount on other legal services.

 

Terina specialises in private family matters, ensuring continuity, establishing a relaxed and friendly relationship whilst maintaining a professional approach and with the necessary advocacy experience to represent her clients at court. Terina will endeavour to reach a negotiated settlement to avoid often unnecessary and costly court proceedings; striving to achieve the best possible outcome given each individual client’s case.

 

During her career to date, Terina has provided support to the National Police Federation, the National Association for Retired Police Officers (NARPO), Armed Forces personal and their families and veterans, with her ethos being that ‘we should give back to those who give so much to society.’  Terina has provided this support nationally with free legal clinics, out of hours calls, attending and promoting Family Days, Armed Forces Days, Wellbeing fairs and providing discounted legal services nationally from East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Manchester and the north-west to the south and southwest.

 

Aside from her legal passion, Terina has a keen interest in sport, skiing, golf, mountain biking and previously motorcross riding. Terina also competed for Great Britain and England with her chosen sport of karate, Wado Ryu; obtaining her black belt at the age of 15, the European Kata Champion twice and competed in both individual and team kumite at both national and international levels in countries across Europe and Great Britain; she also appearing on a BBC programme demonstrating karate!
