As we reach the end of the year, I want to say a sincere thank you for everything Sussex Police officers do, often in difficult and dangerous circumstances.

The role is always carried out with professionalism and commitment.

Policing asks a lot, and this year has been no different.

To our members who will be working over the festive period: thank you. And to the families and loved ones who share the impact of the policing , missed moments, changed plans, and the constant worry, thank you too.

Your support matters more than you know.

I hope colleagues get the chance to rest, recharge, and spend time with the people who matter to you. Whatever the season looks like for you, please know the Federation is here for you today and into the New Year.
