Federation kits out kitchen with essentials

Officers working at Burgess Hill Police Station have been able to utilise a decked out kitchen, thanks to Sussex Police Federation.

Items including knives, forks, cups, pots, pans, plates and bowls have been donated by the Federation to assist in keeping officers fully fuelled.

Donna Lonsdale, Vice Chair of Sussex Police Federation, said: “The wellbeing of our members is at the forefront of everything we do - and although we are slightly restricted over what we can currently do and where we can visit due to the pandemic, we still have that mantra.

“It was really nice to be able to provide essential items for one of our stations to ensure that the members who work from the location - as well as visitors - now have the equipment needed to fuel themselves for their shifts.”
