Welfare Van

We are pleased to announce that NYPF, in partnership with the NYP Welfare Fund have recently purchased a Welfare Van.

The Van has a microwave, hot water boiler, cool box, drying area (for wet clothes) heating and air con, a place to sit away from the public, charging points and even a loo!

If you want to book the vehicle for any sort of pre-planned event please contact northyorkswelfarevan@polfed.org and we will do our very best to accommodate the requests.

If you feel the Welfare Van would be useful at an ongoing incident and is within Office hours 9am – 5pm please contact the Federation Office on 01904 909483. Should you want to Welfare Van outside normal office hours, please contact the FCR FIM who is able to contact the on call Federation Representative who can then provide the access codes to collect it from the secure compound in Thirsk. Please do consider requesting it for any incident where Officers may be out on a scene for an extended period.
