Welfare Van

• The van is registered on NYP's fleet so any driver with a B1 licence is able to drive it.
• The Welfare van is located in the secure car park at Police Headquarters in Northallerton. It is available 24/7 when not already in use.
• It is available for use at pre-planned events, and also spontaneous incidents, such as protracted scene guards or rurally located incidents.
• The van has a microwave, boiler, cool-box and handwash sink with access to hot and cold water – if all instructions are followed these can be used and enjoyed.
• The vehicle must be left clean and tidy. It is for all to use – please look after it.
• The van can be stocked in advance by your Federation/Welfare Fund, including hot and cold drinks and snacks.

This vehicle is a really good asset, which we want our members to benefit from as much as possible. Please look after it, so it can look after you.
