North Yorkshire PC Robert Ingram is today remembered by the Federation.
Robert was 28 when he died after his patrol car crashed as he attended an emergency call on 27 August 1993.
Rob Bowles, chair of North Yorkshire Police Federation, said: “It is important that we remember our fallen colleagues and continue to show their families that they are not forgotten.
“Robert lost his life while serving his community and was relatively young at the time of his death. We keep him in our thoughts today, along with the loved ones he left behind whose lives changed forever on the day of that accident.”
