On behalf of North Yorkshire Police Federation, I’d like to wish all of our members and their families a happy Christmas and all the very best for 2026.

I want to thank you all for your fantastic work during another challenging year for policing.

Your tireless and selfless efforts are inspiring, and I know your work is appreciated by the vast majority of people in North Yorkshire.

I’m proud to be able to work with you and on your behalf to represent all of our members.

Sacrifices

If you are working over the Christmas period, we know how difficult it can be and the sacrifices you make, particularly if you’re missing precious family time.

Thank you to your families and loved ones for the constant support they provide. Their understanding is an essential part of what you do and they deserve recognition too.

I hope you are able to spend quality time with those loved ones and to take a break from work to rest and recharge.

Please remember that Federation reps are here for you. Reps will be on call throughout Christmas, the New Year and beyond.
