20th anniversary of officer’s death

Today marks the 20^th anniversary of the death of North Yorkshire PC Glenn Robinson.

Glenn died in a motorcycle accident while travelling home from duty on 27 July 2005. He was 46.

North Yorkshire Police Federation chair Rob Bowles said: “Our thoughts today are with the loved ones Glenn left behind as they mark this sad anniversary. Tragically, Glenn left home to report for duty and never made it home at the end of his shift like too many officers before him and since.”
