The survey, which was launched in September by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), includes a number of questions shaped around topics such as pay, pensions and welfare. It remains one of the largest means of research into the views of police officers across England and Wales.
Other questions will ask participants about both personal and Force-wide morale.
Findings from the survey will then help to inform the Federation’s dialogue with the Force about how to move forward in the best interest of its staff.
Chair of North Yorkshire Police Federation Rob Bowles said: “260 responses from North Yorkshire Police were recorded for last year’s survey, which worked out as a 16 per cent response rate – it would be good to better that this time around.
“This is the chance for you to have your say – positive or negative – on many different aspects of policing.
“We are already over two weeks into the survey’s window for completion, and the deadline will be here before you know it, so I would encourage Federation members to ensure they take up this opportunity to be heard.”
The PFEW’s Pay and Morale Survey 2024 closes on Monday 28 October.
Members should have received an email containing a link to the survey. If you have not received the email, please check your junk and if it still cannot be found, contact the Federation office.
