North Wales Police Federation will today pause and remember PC Ralph Jones.
Ralph died on 13 July 1999 after suffering fatal injuries in a road collision while he was taking part in a motorcycle training course near Denbigh. He was 34.
Federation branch chair Trystan Bevan said: “It is now 27 years since Ralph died while on duty and those who knew him and colleagues who served with him still speak of him with great admiration and affection.
“We will pause today to remember Ralph and his service to North Wales Police and our communities, and we will keep his family, friends, and colleagues in our thoughts.
“His sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
