Have your say in this year’s Pay and Morale Survey

The more members who complete this year’s Pay and Morale Survey the better the understanding of the issues affecting police officers.

That’s the message from North Wales Police Federation as it encourages members to compete the survey.

Held by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), the annual survey is anonymous and is now open.

It provides police officers with an important opportunity to share their experiences of pay, working conditions and wellbeing.

PFEW uses the findings to build a picture of the issues affecting police officers across the country and in individual forces, and to help inform its work to secure improvements on members' behalf.

A branch spokesperson said: “Every response counts.

“The more officers we get to take part, the better our understanding will be of the issues affecting our members here in North Wales and across England and Wales.

“It will also give us the evidence we need to press for meaningful change.

"The survey gives officers a chance to answer honestly about their experiences of pay, morale and the challenges they face every day. The stronger the response, the stronger the evidence we have to press for meaningful change.

"We would encourage every member to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your voice matters."
