Fed marks 21st anniversary of officer’s death

Today marks the 21st anniversary of the death of North Wales Police officer PC Andy Parker.

Andy was killed on 23 September 2005 when his motorbike was involved in a road traffic collision as he was travelling home from duty. He was aged 30.

North Wales Police Federation chair Trystan Bevan said: “Andy was just 30 years old and had so much of his life and policing career to look forward to when his life was tragically cut short.

“On this anniversary, our thoughts are with Andy’s family, friends and former colleagues. We remember Andy, his service, and the contribution he made to policing in North Wales.”
