12 December 2025
The December 2025 edition of Your Voice, the North Wales Police Federation magazine, is out now.
Your Voice is packed with news, member stories and essential updates, as well as reflections on another challenging year for policing and a look ahead to 2026.
Branch secretary Lewis Davies opens the magazine with a look at the Copped Enough campaign, which highlights increased demand, evolving crime types, and the immense pressures facing officers.
Lewis’s column also highlights the impact of long, drawn-out conduct investigations.

And it reinforces the Federation’s commitment to fighting for fair treatment and better welfare support for members.
Chair Trystan Bevan shares his thoughts on the unique challenges of the festive season for police officers.
And he looks at changes in assessing use of force in police misconduct cases to the criminal standard of beyond reasonable doubt, and whether that test should be applied to all conduct matters.
And there are Christmas messages from both Lewis and Trystan to members.
Elsewhere, Your Voice includes extensive coverage of the national Police Federation conference.
This includes key discussions on pay and conditions, officer mental health, and the ongoing Copped Enough drive. Members can also read about significant progress in the Simplify DG6 campaign.
Workplace rep, Sergeant Dan Ball, the branch lead for body-worn video discusses BWV and any intrusion on private conversations between officers.
There’s a report on that announcement that the criminal law test for assessing use of force in police misconduct cases is to be restored.
The magazine highlights powerful personal stories too, including that of Inspector Jason Diamond.
He was diagnosed with prostate cancer after an in-Force test – despite having no signs or symptoms.
Hear from PC Gareth “Gaz” Roberts, who has been named North Wales Police Officer of the Year.
And there’s a moving tribute to PC Ryan Donaldson through the annual Blue Light Walk.
There’s a look back at the annual National Police Memorial Day, which was held at Coventry Cathedral.
Former North Wales Police Federation rep Barry Andrews discusses his work for the road safety charity Brake.
And you can read about the 2026 Paws Off Duty charity calendar, which supports retired police dogs.
It’s all in the December edition of Your Voice, available to download now.
