As we approach Christmas, North Wales Police Federation would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all officers for your unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe. 

Christmas is traditionally a time for reflection, celebration, and connection, but for many of you, it will be spent on duty.

Remember, Christmas is rarely perfect for anyone - and in policing, it’s about making your own traditions, sharing moments with colleagues, and finding value in the service you give.

Your dedication, often under challenging and sometimes dangerous circumstances, embodies the spirit of service and sacrifice that defines policing. Your ongoing commitment to policing is so much appreciated by everyone here at North Wales Police Federation.

This year has once again tested the resilience, adaptability, and courage of officers across the country.

We have seen extraordinary acts of kindness, professionalism, and determination on every shift, demonstrating that policing is about more than law enforcement - it is about supporting, protecting, and building trust with the communities we serve.

During the festive season, it is important to recognise your own wellbeing alongside your professional responsibilities. We encourage you to take moments of rest when possible, celebrate with your loved ones, and acknowledge the impact of your work.
