Matt discusses pay and morale in radio interview

Leicestershire Police Federation secretary Matt Robinson has been interviewed on BBC Radio Leicester in the wake of the findings of the latest national pay and morale survey.

Matt discussed the pressures officers faced and explained he could understand why officers had said in the survey that they would not recommend joining the police to others despite the fact that, even with 29 years' service, he still would.

During the interview on Martin Ballard's early evening show, Matt also talked about the reduction in officer numbers and the challenges that caused.
