Did you know that you can claim the tax back on your Police Federation subscriptions? This can now be done online selecting this link –

Claim Income Tax relief for your employment expenses (P87) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The Police Federation of England and Wales is an approved professional organisation as defined by HM Revenue and Customs. As such you are entitled to claim the tax back that you have paid on your subscriptions, and this can be done for as many as 4 previous years.

You will need to create an online ID with the GOV.UK website to do this.

Should you require it, subscription costs for the Federation for previous years were:

2015 - £21.58

2016 - £21.58

2017 - £21.58

2018 - £21.58

2019 - £21.58

1st September 2020 - £23.58

1st October 2022 - £24.31
