How to join the Group Insurance Scheme:

Serving Leicestershire police officers, police staff can join the Group Insurance Scheme anytime by completing an application form which is available on this website or from the Federation office.
Student officers can join without filling out an underwritten form and their subscription fee is waived for the first 52 weeks of their service.
Cover can be extended to a member’s co-habiting partner or spouse but will cease on the serving members or partner/spouses 70th birthday*. Your Group Insurance Scheme subscriptions will be taken directly from your monthly salary and must be maintained for you to remain a member of the scheme and qualify for its benefits.

How to make a travel claim:

If you need to make a travel claim on the Group Insurance/Core Insurance Scheme please contact the Claims Settlement Agency (CSA) on 0330 660 0549 or visit www.csal.co.uk.
