Federation website has dedicated coronavirus section

A website page has been set up by the Police Federation of England and Wales to bring together all the advice on the development of the coronavirus outbreak.

The page covers financial advice and tips for wellbeing as well as providing links to Government guidance and the latest NHS advice, with members being encouraged to keep up to date with developments.

Hertfordshire Police Federation chair Geoff Bardell said: “We are doing everything we can as a branch to ensure the safety of our members and to support them however we can during this crisis.

“As a branch, we’ve been attending Force meetings to help bring together Hertfordshire’s response to an unprecedented and challenging situation.

“With so much information being available and measures to control the spread of the virus rapidly changing, it’s useful for members to have the national Federation website page as a source to turn to for advice and guidance.”
