Police Pensions - Maternity, Parental and Part Time Issues

Acting national deputy secretary John Partington and Avon and Somerset chair Iain Prideaux said, “Following the recent circulation of pension statements (or not) a number of queries have been raised. Individuals have highlighted that maternity leave is shown incorrectly, pension contributions whilst on maternity leave are not shown, parental leave and part-time working dates are incorrect, we are sure there are more. Working with the Federation and PSA we have been asked to collate all the issues in order that a letter can be sent to the Home Office and the matters can be raised at the next Pension Scheme Advisory Board. All the issues will be collated and taken forward. Please find a link below to a questionnaire which will greatly inform the extent of the problem faced by our membership.
