Fifty Up! Federation supports Force's Fiftieth Birthday Bash

Avon and Somerset Police Federation were delighted to be part of the Constabulary’s 50th Anniversary Celebration at HQ this weekend. 

Acting Chair Iain Prideaux said, “This year is Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s 50th anniversary and we spent a great weekend sharing in the celebrations at head quarters.

"It was inspiring to see so many officers and staff displaying their skills, passion and professionalism.

"We met lots of people from the community who were very keen to learn more about the Federation and how we support members. 

"We also highlighted the welfare van and reminded officers of the many benefits of membership. Thank you especially to Tom Gent, Andrew Dollard, Trina Phillips and Marc Flavell who made the weekend so memorable. 

"Congratulations to everyone who planned, prepared and took part in a fantastic showcase of talent!”
