Avon and Somerset Police Federation is urging officers to complete the force’s Annual People Survey

Avon and Somerset Police Federation is urging officers to complete the force’s Annual People Survey and share their experiences on such issues as workload and leadership.

The survey is already available on Pocketbox, and Federation Chair Iain Prideaux hopes officers will set a new record in responding, after last year’s highest-ever response rate of 62%.

Iain said: “I encourage every member of the police family to complete this survey, especially after the difficult year we’ve all had.

“The survey has an increased focus on discrimination, harassment and bullying, plus questions on wellbeing, inclusion and fair treatment; resources and workload; leadership, change and improvement; and culture and ethics.”

Iain added: “You’ll also be able to fill in your own thoughts about what needs improvement and what works well. This is an opportunity to tell the force what you think and strengthen the evidence we can use to influence the change you need.”
