HQ Facilities
In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, every one of us in the constabulary have had to change and adapt our daily business, whether in work or in our homes.
Such are the far reaching implications of COVID that we have all had to change our daily routine and how we engage with family, friends and colleagues. At times like this we come together as one police family and I want to thank you all for the part you are playing to keep our communities safe. Many of you are dealing with difficult situations, both at work and at home, and it’s important that we take some time to reflect. For those of you who continue to work at HQ, please consider using the Force Memorial Garden. During the past year the Federation with some partners have re-developed this area for all of you to use. On days like today, where we have blue sky and sunshine, please use the area. It’s a place to quietly sit and reflect or perhaps have conversations – while remembering the social distancing rules to keep 2 metres apart.
We’ll continue to maintain the garden throughout this time, as we understand its importance for your well-being.
