Specials who subscribe to the Police Federation can also join the Group Insurance Scheme.

Legal expenses cover for Special Constables who are members of the Police Federation is paid for by West Midlands Police Federation.

Legal expenses insurance
Standalone legal expenses cover is available to Special Constables who are not a member of the Police Federation.
The key facts document provides details of the sections of cover, and details of how to access the support. Specials are urged to read it carefully so they are fully aware of the extensive range of cover available.
The cover is available for just £54 per year payable by BACS payment to the Federation (Please email westmidlandspf@polfed.org for the bank details).
To apply for cover, please download the application form on the Group Insurance Scheme documents section, under the Special Constables heading and return to the Federation via email or post back to us.
Cancelling membership
To terminate your membership, or stop paying subscriptions, one month's notice must be given.
