Federation remembers PC Anthony Wright

West Mercia Police Federation today remembers PC Anthony Wright on the 15th anniversary of his death.

Anthony, who was 47, died on 9 August 2011 when his motorbike was in collision with a car in Kidderminster.

The father-of-one served with West Mercia Police for 22 years and was based at Hindlip Hall. He had served in the army before becoming a police officer.

Branch chair Gareth Spreadbury said: “Today we pause to remember Anthony and his service and sacrifice.

“The thoughts of everyone at West Mercia Police Federation are with Anthony’s family, friends and former colleagues.”
