Tributes paid to PC Steve Moore

West Mercia Police Federation have paid tribute to PC Steve Moore, who sadly died on Wednesday (15 May).

The 40-year-old died peacefully, surrounded by his family, after being diagnosed with lung cancer a few months ago.

Steve joined the Force in 2015, with his most recent role being a firearms officer at Malinsgate. He leaves behind his wife, Maddie.

Steve Butler, chair of West Mercia Police Federation said: “This is extremely sad news. Our thoughts are with Steve’s wife, Maddie, along with his family, friends and colleagues at such a difficult time.

“I know Steve’s death will be felt by so many of our members. Please know the Federation is here for you, should you require support, as you process the news.”
