Merry Christmas from West Mercia Police Federation

I’d like to wish everyone in West Mercia Police a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

This is my first Christmas as branch chair and I wanted to acknowledge what a difficult time it can be for our members and their families.

While some may have time off on leave over the festive period, many will be working long and unsociable hours and missing out on time with family and friends.

I know that the overwhelming majority of people in West Mercia appreciate the sacrifice and service of our police officers, staff, and volunteers.

On behalf of them, and on behalf of the Federation, I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the job and keeping our communities safe.

Thank you for your continuing professionalism, and please look after yourselves and look out for each other.

We wish you and your family a safe and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
