A webinar will be hosted next week as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from 13 to 19 May and West Mercia Police Federation members are being encouraged to register.
The webinar will run from 10.30am to 11.15am on Wednesday 15 May, coinciding with the launch of the Federation’s #AskTwice campaign through which people are being encouraged to ask colleagues twice if they are OK: “How are you? Really, how are you?”
Run by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), the webinar will explain why asking if someone is OK twice is crucial, and outline the strategy behind the campaign.
The guest speaker is former Army physical training instructor Mel Lynch who is passionate about helping others and providing a service to enable them to achieve their goals and make changes.
Mel will talk about building habits and routines and explain some simple deskercise’ movements that can boost people’s mental health.
