Federation remembers sergeant

Today marks the anniversary of the loss of West Mercia Sergeant Ian Jones.

Ian collapsed and died from heart failure while on duty at Worcester headquarters on 2 March 2011.

Pete Nightingale, secretary of West Mercia Police Federation, said: “Today we remember Ian, his service to the Force and his dedication to policing our communities. But we also remember his family, his friends and his former colleagues as they continue to feel his loss.”
