Federation remembers fallen colleague

West Mercia PC Anthony Wright died on this day 13 years ago.

Anthony, who was 47, died on 9 August 2011 when his motorbike was in collision with a car in Kidderminster.

Based at Hindlip Hall, he had been with the Force for 22 years, having previously served in the army.

West Mercia Police Federation chair Steve Butler said: “Today we remember Anthony and keep his family, friends and former colleagues in our thoughts.”
