Tributes to fallen colleague

West Mercia Police Federation has remembered PC Anthony Wright who died 12 years ago today.

Anthony died on 9 August 2011 when his motorbike was in collision with a car in Kidderminster.

The 47-year-old father-of-one served with West Mercia Police for 22 years and was based at Hindlip Hall. He was in the army before becoming a police officer.

Branch chair Barry Horton said: “The thoughts of everyone at West Mercia Police Federation are with Tony’s family, friends and former colleagues today.”
