Officers are being invited to attend a police pension myth-busting webinar later this month.
The webinar on 23 May, which will run for an hour and 15 minutes, will be hosted by Metfriendly’s Simon Horgan who has been helping police officers and staff with their financial decisions for around 20 years.
The session will cover:

- Weighted accrual and immediate detriment - what they mean and how they work

- Scheme overview (all three schemes) and how they work together
- Understanding when you can retire and what to expect (lump sum options).
