Important notice: pensions forecasts

West Mercia Police Federation has been funding individual pension forecasts for officers using the services of independent financial adviser Steve Grange.  

This arrangement will end on 1 January 2024.

“In light of the McCloud judgement, there is now more certainty concerning the information and benefits of officers’ pensions. We therefore encourage officers to contact pension administrators XPS for pension forecasts and annual benefits in the future,” explains Pete Nightingale, secretary of West Mercia Police Federation.

“If any officers have less than 10 years’ service left, and they have not yet used this service from Steve, they can still arrange to do so until the end of the year.

“I would like to personally thank Steve for all his work which I know has been really welcome and well received. He has provided information and predictions for more than 400 police officers to date.”
