West Mercia Police Federation secretary Pete Nightingale says the more members who complete the pay and morale survey the louder the Federation’s voice will be when campaigning for fairer pay and conditions.
Pete is urging members to take the Police Federation of England and Wales’s (PFEW) annual survey, which is live and runs until Monday 11 December.
The findings will provide vital evidence to support PFEW in its national pay campaign, in fighting for fair remuneration for police officers, and in calling for an independent pay mechanism.
It will also provide accurate and timely information on the current state of police morale and wellbeing, helping to inform and drive policies to support officers.
Pete said: “We’ll use the results to inform our campaigns for better pay for members and for a fairer pay mechanism, and to highlight the issues members are facing so we can work to address them.
“It’s important everyone has their say so we get a balanced sense of where we are and what needs improving.
“And the more officers who complete the survey the louder the Federation’s voice will be heard.”
The link to the survey and full details have been emailed to members. If you’ve not received it, please check your junk folder.
