Election Café: find out more about being a Fed rep

An online Election Café event showcasing the incredible work carried out by Police Federation workplace representatives is taking place next week.

Branch members who sign up to attend the third and final event to learn more about the role ahead of next month’s elections can claim a free gift.

The Election Café event is part of the ongoing Reps@Work campaign which highlights the vital work carried out by workplace reps.

West Mercia Police Federation branch chair Sarah Cooper said: “This event gives members a chance to find out about the Fed rep role and hopefully help them decide to put themselves forward for what can be a very challenging but equally rewarding position.

“We would encourage all our members who are considering becoming a rep to register and attend. It is open to all and we would particularly urge members from under-represented groups to attend as we are committed to making the Federation more representative of our membership.”

The Election Café will be open from 6pm until 7.30pm on Tuesday 1 June.
