5 November 2020
It is with regret that due to the Governments lockdown regulations that commenced 00.01 November 5th, Flint House reluctantly advises it is unable to accept patients for residential rehabilitation until further notice.
At a time of moving into the unchartered waters of a second wave of Coronavirus cases Flint House and all of the staff here at Goring, fully recognise the absolute necessity to care for and look after our constituent police officers who have to remain in the frontline of protecting the public.
We are doing our utmost to remain operational and continue rehabilitation services in the safest manner for both patients and staff. To this end we are proud to say we are able to continue with tailored individual rehabilitation via remote teleconsultations and programs that the team have operated since March of this year when Coronavirus restrictions were first imposed.
To back up this existing rehabilitation service the physio team is now putting in place an outpatient service based on clinical need, location, and accessibility within government guidelines for medical treatments under lockdown.
All patients are still invited to apply for treatment by completing the relevant application form in the normal way, found on our website at https://www.flinthouse.co.uk/images/Physio_App_Ver11.pdf.
We wish to reassure all our donating officers that we have been here for them for 130 years and even under the most challenging conditions in modern times we will continue to be so.
Updates will appear on our web site home page, facebook and twitter feeds.
