Federation subscription increases

The Police Federation of England and Wales voluntary subscription fee increase was agreed at our annual conference in June 2020.
This is the first increase in Federation subscriptions since 2011. You can find more information about the reasons behind the increase by clicking here.
These changes are effective from 1st September 2020 and will vary depending on when the officer has joined the service.
The changes to be implemented are as follows;
- Officers who are currently paying £21.58 per month will be increased to £23.58 each month. This applies to officers who have joined the service before this date and have three or more years of service.
- Student Officers currently in their first year of service paying the reduced rate of £5.40 will increase to £5.90 per month. This rate will increase to £11.79 in their second year of service.
- Student Officers in their second year of service currently paying £10.80 will increase to £11.79 per month. This will then increase to £23.58 after they have completed two full years’ service.
- Student officers who join the service on or after 1st September 2020 will pay £11.79 a month for their first year of service. On their second year of service this will then increase to £23.58 per month.
