You must be a contributing member of this scheme via your Pension to be entitled to the below benefits. 

On your Retirement from West Mercia Police you are now Auto-Enrolled into the Group Insurance Scheme as a Retired member. 

The benefits are different to Serving officers, you can find the details of the Retired benefits on the page 4 of the Scheme benefits booklet above. 

*Please note if you cancel your Retired scheme you are unable to re-join it at a later date. You also cannot add a Spouse onto the policy after you retire.
