The Blue Light Show is the emergency services’ most authoritative and collaborative event, created by the sector, for the sector.

Driven by a highly influential advisory board including NPCC’s Strategic Hub Lead – Gemma Stannard, it brings together senior leaders, departmental heads and frontline responders from across the police, ambulance and fire and rescue services to share lessons learned from major incidents, address common challenges, and develop practical, cross-service solutions.

Through expert-led discussions, hands-on training and real-world case studies, the event promotes greater interoperability between services and strengthens operational capability.

By encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation, The Blue Light Show supports the police and the wider emergency services community in its mission to better protect society and save lives.

Why it’s important to attend and to encourage your teams attend:

For senior police leaders, attending the Blue Light Show is not just professional development, it is an opportunity to strengthen operational effectiveness, support your workforce and shape the future of policing.

You and your officers will leave with lessons that can be applied immediately to operational planning, command decisions and force resilience.

Stay ahead of evolving threats and demand

From terrorism to emerging community risks, and from the impact of AI to climate-related pressures, the event provides a clear, national picture of the challenges policing must prepare for now.
