Surrey Police Federation Launches 2026 Awards

Superb Surrey Police Officers are to be recognised once again this year at Surrey Police Federation’s Annual Recognition Awards!
Nominations are now open for this prestigious event - in association with Slater & Gordon - which will take place on Wednesday December 16 2026.
The Awards – now in their fourth year - celebrate officers who go above and beyond to support colleagues, display care and compassion and make the communities of Surrey safer.
The categories this year are:
- Divisional Officer – Western and Eastern
- Detective of The Year
- Operational & Specialist Command
- Surrey Police Federation Representative
- Special Constable
- Contribution To Policing
- Outstanding Operational/Support Team
- Women In Policing
Officers are encouraged to nominate their colleagues for an award; the deadline for nominations is Tuesday 1 September.
Federation Chair Darren Pemble said: “We can’t wait for our fantastic festive fourth Surrey Police Federation Recognition Awards – this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
“The event is wonderfully well established now and always a highlight of the annual calendar. It gives us all such a great chance to celebrate the amazing work of Surrey Police officers across the board.”
Darren added: “It remains more important than ever that we celebrate excellence when we see it so we would encourage all colleagues to nominate their peers.
