Federation pauses to remember PC Peter Evans

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Suffolk PC Peter Evans.

Peter died in a road traffic accident while travelling back to base at the end of his shift in the early hours of 24 February 2001. He was 33.

Suffolk Police Federation secretary Ben Hudson said: “Our thoughts today are with Peter’s family, friends, and colleagues on the anniversary of his death.

“We remember Pete and the service he gave to the Force and the people of Suffolk. His service and sacrifice will always be remembered.”
