DC Clive Barrett remembered

DC Clive Barratt is today remembered by Suffolk Police Federation on the anniversary of his death.

DC Barratt was aged 35 when he was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident while on surveillance duty on 28 July 1999.

Darren Harris, Suffolk Police Federation chair, said: “The thoughts of everyone at Suffolk Police Federation are with the family, friends and colleagues of DC Clive Barratt.

“We remember him and his service and the sacrifice he made in serving and protecting our communities.

“It’s incredibly important that we honour officers who have died in the line of duty and keep their memory alive.”
