Remembering officer who died in motorcycle crash

Suffolk Police Federation today remembers a Force PC who died in a road accident while on duty.

PC Neville Stackwood was on patrol on 9 May 1984 when he was found dead alongside his crashed motorcycle. He was 27.

Branch chair Darren Harris said: "Our thoughts today are with Neville’s loved ones as they mark this sad anniversary. 

"It is important to us as a Federation to continue to remember our fallen colleagues; those who gave their lives while serving their communities. The sacrifice they made should never be forgotten and nor should we forget the families, friends and colleagues they left behind."
