Remembering fallen officer

It is now 32 years since Suffolk PC Kevin Clarke died in a road accident.

Kevin, who was just 23, was going off duty at the time of the crash on 27 May 1993.

Suffolk Police Federation branch chair Darren Harris said: “The loss of any officer is always sad and affects everyone within the Force. In Kevin’s case, it is particularly tragic that he was so young, with his whole life in front of him.

“On behalf of the Federation, I would like to pay tribute to Kevin and his service to the people of Suffolk. Our thoughts today are with the loved ones he left behind.”
