Detective remembered

Suffolk DC Michael Last is today remembered.

Michael was 32 when he died alongside Norfolk colleague Terence Glister in a road accident while on RCS duty on 23 September 1987.

Suffolk Police Federation chair Darren Harris said: “Thankfully, it is very rare for the police service to lose two serving officers in the same incident and this tragic accident would have been felt across both forces and among the communities we both serve.

“Today we remember Michael, and Terence, their service to policing and the public. We also keep their families in our thoughts.”
